Can you believe that it's November already?
Time for charity galas and other black-tie shenanigans.

I was reminded of this when I received my BCBG Max Azria Holiday lookbook in the mail today.  Page after page of sleek, sequined, feathered, ruffled and lacy sexiness.  A quarter of the dresses were skanky socialite short, but they were all stylish and on-trend.

My other favorite places to stop when looking for formals that won't break the bank include Lord and Taylor (I can always find a winner at the one in Chevy Chase), BCBG Outlet, Filene's, and Loehmann's (you'll have to dig, but you can find some real treasures, even Vera Wang).
