Terry McMillan will be at Busboys' 14th and V location at 6 PM to discuss her new book, Getting to Happy.
I know I said that I was reading it, but got extremely sidetracked and had to return it to the library before finishing...couldn't extend due to a long waiting list and my library's gangsta late fees!
Regardless, I might have to fight someone to get in. Ms. McMillan is always entertaining--anybody DVRing her appearances on Oprah is well aware of this--and I'm sure that the line will stretch around the corner.
